The Artist
Josie Hecht is a London based mixed media artist. Her work explores the relationship of memory and time, and the visceral and emotional experience of remembering. Through photography and experimental printing methods, Hecht's work questions the truth of the photograph, often re-contextualizing the elements of space and time that make up images into abstracted works that better are representative of painting or collage.
