"Memory" (2022- Present) explores the complex interaction between objective reality and subjective perception. By combining string, ink, watercolor, and oil paint with both analog and digital photography, each mixed-media collage examines how our identities are shaped by our interpretations of past experiences. By juxtaposing the objective and the imagined, these pieces invite viewers to reconsider the reliability of their own perceptions and memories. Each piece serves as a mirror, reflecting not only the artist’s interpretations but also encouraging viewers to engage with their own pasts, reassess their memories, and recognize the fluidity of their idea of self. In doing so, they foster a dialogue about the nature of reality and the subjective lens through which we all interpret our world.
